General Information

ST. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School is an English medium self-financing educational institution under the management of CMI Fathers of Nirmal Province of Jagdalpur of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate Society. It was established in the year 2002 and is situated in Narayanpur Village at Bhanupratappur. The ambiance of the campus is endowed with serenity to explore into knowledge from within as well us outside of the classroom. The St. Josephites constitute the tiny tots of nursery to the higher secondary adolescence encompassing innovations and enthusiasm.

The school is equipped with library, computer lab, science labs, maths lab, smarts classes and sufficient facilities for sports cultural and extracurricular activities.

The CMI congregation was founded in 1831 at Mannanam, Kottayam Dt., Kerala. It is the first Catholic religious congregation in India. St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of the congregation was a Holy man ahead of his times. He laid foundation for all modern and progressive fields of activities like quality education, health care, and social upliftment of all humans beyond cast and creed, to which the members of the congregation engage all over the world.
